Pearl Marie DuChaine (1900 - 1981)
Pearl was born in Iron City, PA and after completing her schooling went to work in a lumber camp where she met her future husband, Hugh McClellan. Hugh worked as a lumberman and later for the South Penn Oil Company as a lease man. Their first two children, twin girls, were born on Armistice Day, 1918. The couple lived in Tiona, PA and raised 10 children. Pearl was active as a Red Cross nurse's aide, a PTA officer, and a Girl Scout leader, as well as volunteering with her church, the local Grange, and serving as a judge of elections. Pearl and Hugh are buried in the Barnes Cemetery, Barnes, PA.
Margaret Rosella McClellan (1918-2003) loved the outdoors. She married Eskil Quist in 1939 and after his passing married Vernon McGee. She is buried beside Eskil in McKean Memorial Park.
Marjorie Sarah McClellan (1918-1926) was the twin sister of Margaret. She had curly ringlets, while her sister had straight hair. Marjorie passed away from tonsillectomy complications and was buried in Barnes Cemetery.
Pauline Virginia McClellan married her husband, Raymond, and they raised a son and a daughter.
William Hugh McClellan, II (1923-1993) joined the Navy in WWII, and afterwards married Lola Wilkens, and they had three children. Later in life he married Mildred Coffman. He worked as a welder for Stuthers Wells Corporation. Bill and his infant daughter Patricia are buried in Barnes Cemetery near his parents.
Edward Leroy McClellan (1925-2005) served in the Navy in WWII, and afterwards married Dorothy Rauch and they settled in Sheffield. Edward and Dorothy had five children; four boys and one girl. Edward was employed by National Forge. He and his wife are buried in Sheffield Cemetery.
Robert Wesley McClellan (1927-1991) joined the Navy and served both during and after WWII. He married Martha "Del" Littlefield and they had two daughters. He worked in the RV industry in Indiana and later Texas. He passed away in Denton, TX.
Janice Carrol McClellan (1929-1934) Little Janice succumbed from influenza and died at home. She is buried in Barnes Cemetery next to her sister, Marjorie.
Barbara Ann McClellan (1933-2012) married her husband, Edward, in 1952. They raised five children; 2 girls and 3 boys and she was an active volunteer for her children's activities, and worked for a time at a school library and a bookstore. She loved to read and tend to her flower gardens. She is buried beside her son, Kelly, in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Warren.
Stanley D. McClellan married his wife, Gail, and they raised two sons and a daughter.
Dennis Lee McClellan (1939-2007) married his wife, Wanda, and they had three children; two boys and a girl. He was employed with the Warren State Hospital and also worked 20 years with at National Forge. He was a member of the Tiona United Methodist Church and was a 32 degree mason and past master. Dennis loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping with his family, brothers and nephews.
